How Monkey Lost it
(The washing machine saga continues)
Want to hear how Monkey lost it, throwing a magnificent tantrum, tossing her Monkey-toys out her cot..?
....oh dear....
she'll share one of her less glorious moments with you, OK.
Right....Friday morning....Monkey was in a foul mood....everything was 'getting' to her....
Liger (poor love!) just got under her skin...and she was facing a heap of dirty clothes...they needed washing = by furry paws!! The housework was needing to be done....and....and....and a lot more.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Washing first....tub full of suds and clothes...Monkey began scrubbing, scrubbed and scrubbed till the sudsy-bubbles flew all over the place.
She was truly angry, hating this constant hand washing job...after-all there was Monkey's perfectly good washing machine just waiting for it's new motor...but why, oh why, was it taking soooooooooooooo long to be fixed???
After 4 week's waiting she'd had enough!!
Stopped her frantic washing ...and shouted into the air.....
"Hey, you guys (addressing my Spirit Team...) get this 'X!Y#Z' washing machine back here quick....I NEED IT NOW, I WANT IT NOW...not tomorrow, not next week, but NOW!!"
Oooooo, felt a bit better after that...then carried on washing, hung-up dripping clothes, and tootled off to gym, had a good work-out releasing my frustrations. Back home later = whizzed through the housework with a quick-flick of the duster....and relaxed.
Mood restored.
Then later that afternoon, the phone rang.
"Mr. Good News here", a cheerful voice said! (Huh?)
It was the appliance technician = washing machine...and he told Monkey that the new motor had been delivered, he'd fixed the washing machine, and would be delivering it ASAP!
Couldn't believe it!
I was humbled and grateful....and ashamed!
Monkey had shouted her discontent so loudly....she was sure the closest neighbours would have heard every word of her complaining grumbles....in this complex, sound travels far, and Monkey's furry face turned quite red....!
...but there you go! Somebody was indeed listening....
Thank you to everyone getting this going...finally!!! I am so grateful to have my washing machine back....
